Organics in the waste water result in high BOD, COD, TDS and MLSS. They also release odorous substances like H2S, Methane, Ammonia, Acetates, Fatty acids, etc causing odor problems in the vicinity. Quicker removal of such substances helps lowering of the BOD, COD and other parameters to the limits stipulated by the Pollution Control Board. It also helps odor control.

Quality and Quantity of organics may vary from plant to plant and batch to batch. Microbes are known to readily adapt to the variations in organics resulting in quicker degradation of the organics. Biomax offers a high performance product, BIODYNE-ET, consisting of multiple cultures of microbes, ideal for organic degradation. BIODYNE –ET is the bio-culture with highest cell count on the market today.

BIODYNE-ET is a balanced blend of high potency bacterial and fungal cultures such as species of Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Aspergillus, etc. The selected natural microbes are rich in the enzyme systems to digest most organics such as carbohydrates, fats, fibers, proteins, oils and some of the hydrocarbons. BIODYNE-ET is free of the pathogens; E coli & Salmonella.

Application of BIODYNE-ET does not need any expensive installation or modifications of the process equipment. For ETP applications, it can be dosed at the aerobic digester or in its absence to the aeration tank where activated sludge is used. BIODYNE-ET is an affordable and effective solution to the usual problems associated with ETP.

System stabilization

  • Add 5 liter BIODYNE-ET in Aerobic digester for 1000,000 liters of effluent water for 3 days.
  • Monitor BOD, COD, MLSS, Settling time which may spike during this period.
  • Lower the dose to ½ liter for 1000,000 liters effluent after 3 days and repeat for 3 more days.
  • Check if BOD, COD, MLSS, Settling time, meet the norms after 6th day & stop addition of BIODYNE-ET.

For uniform distribution, add BIODYNE-ET to about 20 liters of water in a bucket and add to the aerated tank at various locations.

System maintenance

  • Monitor BOD, COD, MLSS, and settling time regularly.
  • Arrive at maintenance dose for your effluent by laboratory trials.
  • Add BIODYNE-ET to the system during shock loads, or only when the parameters show sudden spikes.
